Environmental sciences deals with surveying, planning and designing of spaces within the Mother Nature. Under Environmental sciences, spaces on land as well as sea are scientifically studied, carefully mapped out and manageably transformed into befitting envelopes for the benefit of mankind. Environmental experts including Land Surveyors, Urban and Regional Planners, Architects, Builders, Estate Managers and Quantity Surveyors synergistically work in transforming desolate spaces into conducive surroundings for residential, educational, religious, industrial, commercial, recreational, vocational, medical and sporting purposes.
Our Vision is to always be ahead on Environmental Excellence through student graduation with world-class standards and in-depth knowledge, excelling skills in their fields of study, who will be highly employable and able to employ themselves; and to provide high quality research and development activities that will promote the development of the Nation and enhance the image of the University.
The Faculty ensures that prospective graduates leave the University with complete knowledge of the necessary core skills for meaningful interactions in the modern world particularly the need for drastic reductions in environmental hazards for a much better future. In fact, the Faculty inculcates into students, safe and healthy living in harmony with the natural world around us by protecting the environment from damage and destruction.
To achieve its goals, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, BAZE University, recruits seasoned lecturers of international reputations who have acquired immense theoretical as well as practical knowledge in contemporary Environmental issues. To add value, the Faculty recently embarks on research simulations towards evolving befitting design-based, ultramodern environmental components and techniques, capable of minimizing high risk of afflictions from contagious diseases such as COVID 19.
