Courses offered at Baze University

The three Faculties all have programmes of 4 year duration for UTME entry, and 3 years for Direct Entry.

Students take 4 courses each semester.  Each course comprises 3 contact-hours per week, usually 1 hour of lecture and 2 hours of seminar.  Courses are mainly assessed by examination and a written assignment (Coursework).  There are two semesters each year,  comprising 14 weeks of teaching and two weeks of examinations

All teaching rooms are equipped with data projectors. Lectures will normally be presented in PowerPoint and handouts of the slides will usually be available before the lecture.  In the seminars, the teacher and students will, variously: go through exercises which reinforce understanding of the lecture, give opportunities to students to give presentations and ask questions.

There is room in the A&A Building for over 500 students to be seated at any one time.

The Computer Laboratory contains 50 workstations, with fast Internet connection. The workstations are linked to a range of printers.  In addition, the teaching rooms, the students' common room and the cafes are equipped with Wireless Hotspots for students to use their own laptops.
